Towed transient electromagnetic system in a certain place in Guangdong to resist drought and find water
In order to quickly and efficiently find groundwater sources and reduce costs, small loop transient electromagnetic technology is adopted, geophysical exploration is the lead, supplemented by drilling verification, and the towed high-resolution transient electromagnetic system (FCTEM60-1) is used for field geophysical investigation, and the Triloop Cloud supercomputing platform is used for processing and inversion.
12 transient electromagnetic survey lines were arranged in the field, as shown in the figure below.

Based on the transient electromagnetic detection results, 6 drilling positions were arranged. Among them, drilling hole 3 is 30m north and west of the horizontal position 1340 measurement point, and the results reveal that NW is fractured to F2, the depth of the final hole is 210.14m, and the water volume is 200 square meters per day. Hole 4 successfully exposed the fracture zone 70m north of the horizontal 1250 measurement point, and developed black ferromanganese mineralization with a water volume of 150 square meters per day. According to the data, the other boreholes were successfully drained.

In this transient electromagnetic field investigation, the water-bearing fracture was successfully inferred, and the anomaly verification of 6 water-intake boreholes was completed, with a success rate of 100%, and the total water volume reached 1610 square meters per day.
